Defense:  (IF) Soft developing hands, consistent developing footwork, clean fluid exchange. Above average.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing.

O’Connor is a 5-foot-9, 150 -pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. O’Connor hits out of a slightly open stance, with the hands set low. He uses a knee slide to get the weight stacked over the back leg, before dropping the bat into a slightly uphill hitting plane. O'Connor shows the ability to drive the ball to the pull side and create carry. He also produced a max exit velocity of 87 MPH.

Defensively, O’Connor was 75 MPH on his throws from the infield. The feet move well and get him into a good fielding position. As he works through the ground ball he displays soft hands and gets the hips to create a good line with his target. The arm-swing is short and quick, finishing through the throw and maintaining his target line.
