Shea is an athletic, talented 6-foot-1, 190 pound right-handed pitching prospect. The delivery is short, controlled and he stays balanced throughout. His feet stay in line with home plate and he’s able to locate on both sides of the plate. The fastball has arm side sink at 81-84 MPH out of a quick ¾ arm slot. His breaking ball is a good tight slider at 73-75 MPH and he showed a change-up with good action at 72 MPH.
Shea is a talented arm with room to develop. The fastball has life and the slider is a good pitch.
