7/24/19

6-foot-1, 185-pound, longer, lean, athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, back is wide, with room for advancement. A right-handed pitcher, pounds the zone with a three pitch mix. The delivery is repeatable and works with easy effort, working from the set position. The hands start and stay low throughout. The lift is under control, front foot is extended out, stride length is long and inline. The arm actions is short and clean, working out of a higher 3/4 slot. Looks to get good extension on the finish, with backside coming through. The fastball touched 80 mph with late darting action to it, sink at the bottom part of the zone. The spin pitch, showed some velocity at 69-71 mph, more slier break to it. The changeup was thrown for strikes, turn me over fade action clocked at 66-67 mph. Worked fast, attacked, pitched a clean outing. Look for him to pitch at the next level.

6/08/19

An athletic 6-foot-1, 185 pounds projectable frame. Pitching- Displayed a live projectable arm. Works mainly from the stretch. Rests his hands near the belt. Uses a mid knee lift and smooth hand separation. Drives downhill from a balanced back side. Low effort delivery. FB has some downward late action and peaked at 81 MPH. CB has late action ranging from 64-67 MPH. Showed feel for a CH around the zone at 68-70 MPH. The 2020 graduate is a must follow.

12/08/18

6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. Threw his bullpen session with a sore arm. The fastball touched 77 mph, arm side run on the pitch. The ball is heavy as it comes in. The spin pitch is 57-58 mph, needs additional fastball hand speed to it, as he slows his ball hand down. The changeup is 65 mph, and a work in progress. The delivery is online with the feet, slightly above ¾ in slot. The lift is quick, coil at the top and makes his way into foot strike. The glove side has a hard pull to it, taking him offline. The arm is clean, needs to clean up the secondary pitches as he matures
