5-foot-7, 140-pound right-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Pennington has a long, high ¾ arm slot that produces a fastball that sits 74-76 mph (Max spin 1978; Avg 1878) with some late run. He uses an easy delivery. He gets to a good, consistent balance point and lands square with an athletic finish. Pennington also showed off a 12/6 curveball (65-67 mph)(Max spin 2101; Avg 2000) and a late fading changeup (69-71 mph).
