Wacha is a 5-foot-10, 150 pound left-handed pitching prospect. He works out of a modified stretch, with a high leg kick. The delivery remains balanced throughout and he’s able to create a consistent line with home plate. The arm is clean and quick, with the addition of physical strength and weight gain we should a velocity bump. He attacks hitters out of a quick, short arm swing and is able to create some late run on a fastball that sits 78-80 MPH. The breaking ball is a harder pitch at 73-75 MPH with tight spin and depth. Once he continually gets the spin pitch out front it should be a college out pitch. The changeup is still developing.
