Second PBR event for Zak, showed much better this time around. Repeats his delivery, hands are set at the chin, his arm action is short and clean on the backside. The fastball was a tick higher was in the mid 70’s, has some life when it's down in the zone. Needs to be consistent with rhythm of hands from set to windup. After separation, wants to lean over midsection, needs to stay taller. Showed a shorter slider at 65, has some sweeping action to it. Changeup had some depth, with good spin to it. A regimented throwing program and continued conditioning and the velocity should jump. Showed good poise and in first event the ability to hold runners well. Projects out to be a left handed bullpen guy.

At 5-foot-11, 205 pounds the frame is wide, strong and has a good durable pitcher’s body. This left-handed pitcher comes at you from a ¾ slot. The delivery is easy and has some rhythm and tempo to it. The hands start high and as he starts his motion they drop down to waist and head back up as he raises his leg. The arm action is real short on the back. The fastball was 70-71, curveball was 63-64, when he released it out front, showed good spin to it. The changeup had proper spin, has makings of a plus pitch. Showed some feel on controlling the running game. With proper conditioning and regimented throwing program, velocity should climb.
