The breaking pitch was 68-69 mph and big in shape. The changeup is developing, sitting 67-68 mph. The delivery is repeated in action and solid in tempo. The slot is low 3/4, leading to deception. AJ Artesani: RHP/1B, (2026) XAVERIAN BROTHERS HIGH SCHOOL, MA. 175-pound athletic projectable build. Projectable and athletic during batting practice, the hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Began in an open narrow stance with a controlled load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, uses an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He produced loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 67 mph; had developing consistent footwork, developing soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed a ¾ slot and a loose arm action with decent accuracy to the base. Projectable on the mound, had low ¾ arm angle and a loose consistent arm action with developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-73 mph; has running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 1862; Avg 1764). His curveball (63-64) showed sweeping action and glove side control. (Max spin 1765; Avg 1722). His changeup (65-66) shows arm side command and gradual fading action.
