Zachary Faro: SS/2B, (2025) North Andover High, MA. 5-foot-9, 175-pound lean athletic frame. Athletic and capable in the box, the hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Started in a balanced wide stance with a long load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, displayed a long loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic recorded an outfield position velocity of 80 mph; had developing hands, developing footwork, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Athletic on the mound, used a consistent arm action with low ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. In line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. With a max of 79 mph; showed arm side control and running sinking action. (Max spin 2010; Avg 1911). Showed gradual fading action and arm side command on his changeup (70-71). Had glove side control and sweeping action on his slider (74-75). (Max spin 1988; Avg 1924).
