Body: 6’1’’, 150 pounds. Lanky, athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, crouched, open stance at the plate. Rhythmic toe-tap load with some hand separation and a direct path to the ball. Stays behind the ball well with a more level swing path and a solid middle of the field line drive approach. Creates solid extension past contact with a two handed finish.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan.
Arm: RH. OF - 76 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Attacks the ball with quick feet and clean actions. Shows quick exchanges with short crow hop into accurate throws that showed carry.
Run: 4.45 Home to first base time.
MD MoCo Fall Review
Athletic body type and 5’11’’, 130 pound frame with plenty of room to grow and fill out. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate. Rock-back load with a front foot tap. Short and direct to the ball with hands showing a level swing path. Generates some bat speed and lower half usage. Long through extension with a one-handed finish. Line drive type hitter with a nice middle of the field approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Plays through the ball in the outfield with control and fundamental footwork. Keeps feet close to the ground on quick crow-hop during exchange. Throws with shorter arm action from a low three-quarter slot at 70 mph. Ran a 7.58 60-yard time.
