Body: 6’1’’, 150 pounds. Lanky, athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, crouched, open stance at the plate. Rhythmic toe-tap load with some hand separation and a direct path to the ball. Stays behind the ball well with a more level swing path and a solid middle of the field line drive approach. Creates solid extension past contact with a two handed finish.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan.
Arm: RH. OF - 76 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Attacks the ball with quick feet and clean actions. Shows quick exchanges with short crow hop into accurate throws that showed carry.
Run: 4.45 Home to first base time.
MD MoCo Fall Review
Athletic body type and 5’11’’, 130 pound frame with plenty of room to grow and fill out. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate. Rock-back load with a front foot tap. Short and direct to the ball with hands showing a level swing path. Generates some bat speed and lower half usage. Long through extension with a one-handed finish. Line drive type hitter with a nice middle of the field approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 74 mph. Plays through the ball in the outfield with control and fundamental footwork.
