Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 5’9”, 145 pounds. Athletic
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, relaxed, slightly open stance at the plate. Short back load and average stride. Creates nice hand separation. Short to the ball with a level swing path. Showed quick hands and generates quick bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball really well with some lower half involvement and good balance. Excellent extension through contact with a strong two-handed finish. Squared up several balls middle to pull side during BP.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ball comes off the bat well and shows pop to the gap with more developing.
Arm: RH. OF - 78 mph. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball in the outfield and fields it out in front on the glove hand side. Showed quick, clean exchanges and quick, fundamental footwork.
Run: 4.25 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Starts with a quick rocker side step, into a chest high leg kick. Delivery was fluid and overall athleticism was present during all portions. Low effort with the delivery, with above average torque out of his lower half. Glove separation was on time and in line with his delivery. Ended in a good, athletic fielding position.
Arm Action: RH. Throws out of a high three-quarter arm slot.
FB: T78 mph, 75-78 mph.
CB: 63-67 mph. Tight 11/5 action and plane.
CH: 70-72 mph. Subtle arm-side fade at the plate.
