Athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds. Hits from the left side with a narrow upright stance. Starts and finishes on line, hands make small load back in rhythm, and has a hands first approach. Swing path is flat, has line drive tendency, and used the middle of the field well during his rounds. Exit velocity was 71 mph. In the outfield Elliott works through the ball, glove presents well, and has a clean exchange. Arm action is short and throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 78 mph. At first base the feet worked well around the bag, glove worked out front to catch, and had a centered exchange to hand break. Short arm action throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Ran a 7.15 60. On the mound starts the delivery with a rocker step back, shoulders closed, and hips show slight elevation. Strides down the mound landing closed and finishing square to the plate. Hands break away from the body, full arm circle, and throws from a three-quarter arm slot and arm recoils. Fastball showed solid arm side run and worked to the arm side well sitting at 75-78 and touching 79 a few times. Breaking ball had a slurvy 2/8 shape at 59-64 mph.
