Body: 5’11’’, 165 pounds. Long, athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from an upright, balanced, slightly closed stance at the plate. Hands are pre-set with some hand separation and a smooth back load. Quick hands through the zone with a solid gap-to-gap line drive approach. Stays behind the ball with a more level swing path. Solid extension through the zone, working the middle of the field during BP.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Some gap-to-gap pop present.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Throws with short arm action from a mid three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays with loose actions with active feet. Fields the ball out in front and funnels it to the belt with a slight glove tap during exchange. Soft hands with accurate throws to the target.
Run: 4.61 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Controlled side-step wind-up and leg kick to a tall balance position. Clean hand separation and smooth stride down the mound. Lands slightly closed to the plate and gets over the front side finishing in an strong, athletic position. Creates really quick arm speed through release with solid extension.
Arm Action: RH. Throws with long, loose arm action from a mid three-quarter slot with easy effort.
FB: T79 mph, 75-78 mph. Slight arm-side run with an average spin rate of 2031 rpm.
CB: 64-67 mph. Bigger 11/5 shape with an average spin rate of 2102 rpm.
SL: 69-71 mph. Tight 11/5 shape with an average spin rate of 2090 rpm.
CH: 69-70 mph. Average spin rate of 1666 rpm.
