Maryland Preseason All-State Session II
Body: 5’11”, 155 pounds. Lean, projectable frame with room to add strength.
Delivery: Athletic delivery with the hands moving up over the head in rhythm with the side rocker, medium leg lift to a balanced, hip-coiled position with an on-time drive forward from the backside and chest over the toes. Everything comes out of the same window with similar pace on the arm action.
Arm Action: RH. High ¾, quick arm speed with ability to repeat.
FB: T75 mph, 72-74 mph. Average spin rate of 1800 rpm. Showed a mostly straight fastball with carry towards the plate; held the zone at a 30% clip. More velo coming.
CB: 61-63 mph. Average spin rate of 1672 rpm. Big horizontal break across the plate (9 inches on average / 18 inches max HM) with solid command.
CH: 69-70 mph. Killed spin with developing feel for the strike zone. Somewhat straight at the moment.
