Body: 5’9”, 145 pounds. Athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a slightly crouched square stance at the plate. An exaggerated back load with a bigger leg kick load. Attacks the ball with intent and some bat speed through contact. Foot gets down in time with an uphill swing path. Some lower half involvement with solid extension through and past contact. Strong middle to pull side line drive approach with a one handed finish.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Present pop to the pull side with more projectable as he continues to fill out the body.
Arm: RH. INF - 67 mph. Throws with longer arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball with active feet, fielding it in closer to the body. Slight glove-tap in exchange with quick, clean transfers. Showed some range side to side.
Run: 7.59 60-Yard Time.
Delivery: Pitches from the stretch. Chest high leg kick with a shorter arm action to the plate. Gets good separation, down the hill towards the plate. Sound mechanically. Consistently filled the strike zone with his FB. Displayed a developing CB which flashed potential, but will need to continue to develop.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action out of a three-quarter slot.
FB: T74 mph, 72-74 mph. Average spin rate of 1992 rpm per TrackMan.
CB: 63-67 mph. 12/6 shape. Average spin rate of 2126 rpm per TrackMan.
