Robey is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a shorter free arm action and normal effort. Shoulders are uphill and closed, swings into an open landing with some fall off in his finish. Fastball was 73-74 with some late life. Slowed arm to throw curveball, pitch was 59-60 with big slow 12/6 break.

Athletic body type and 5’8’’, 130 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, open stance at the plate with feet closer together. Smooth back load and small leg lift used for rhythm and timing. Creates good hand separation and strong lower half involvement. Short, level swing with some bat speed and an exit velocity of 78 mph. Stays behind the ball well and gets good extension through contact. Line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Moves well in the infield and fields the ball out in front with fundamental footwork. Funnels ball to chest and showed quick, clean exchanges. Throws with short arm action from a low three-quarters slot at 68 mph.
