Body: 5’11’’, 170 pounds. Strong, athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from an upright, balanced, square stance at the plate. Stays behind the ball well, creating solid hand separation with a smooth back load. Fast hands and quick bat speed through the zone and attacks the ball with intent. Slightly uphill swing path and strong lower half involvement. Gap-to-gap line drive approach with excellent extension through the zone. Strong lower half involvement and worked mostly middle to pull side, squaring up several balls during BP with consistent loud contact.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Present pop to the pull side.
Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Throws with longer arm action from a high three-quarter arm slot.
Defense: Plays with loose, smooth actions with quick, active feet on approach. Gets around the ball well, fielding it out in front with soft hands. Funnels the ball to the belt with a quick glove tap during exchange. Strong arm across the diamond with continuous momentum towards the target.
Run: 4.63 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Pitches from the stretch with a quick, high leg kick to a compact, crouched balance position. Controlled stride down the mound with strong lower half drive off the rubber. Clean hand separation, landing in-line with the plate. Gets over the front side well and finishes in a strong, athletic position. Creates quick arm speed through release and gets good extension out front.
Arm Action: RH. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot with regular effort.
FB: T79 mph, 78-79 mph. Average spin rate of 1667 rpm.
CB: 65-67 mph. Showed 12/6 shape with an average spin rate of 1989 rpm.
