Body: 5’9’’, 140 pounds. Athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly closed stance at the plate. Smooth, quick back load with minimal hand separation and a slight leg kick stride. Some hand speed through the zone with solid feel for the barrel. Stays behind the ball well with solid balance throughout and some lower half involvement. Level bath path with some extension through contact and a smooth middle to pull side line drive approach.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan.
Arm: RH. C - 66 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Pop times ranged 2.00 - 2.22. Creates really nice momentum and replaces feet well behind the dish with quick, clean actions. Exchanges are smooth and quick with accurate throws to the bag.
Run: 8.00 60-Yard Time.
Delivery: Pitches out of a quick, rocker step. Chest high leg kick. Delivery out of a low three-quarter arm slot. Arm side run was evident on his FB. CB threw out of a little higher slot, but was effective showing sharp 12/6 shape.
Arm Action: RH. Low three-quarter arm slot.
