Tyler Lowery: OF/RHP, (2024) Brunswick, MD. 6-foot-1, 160-pound. During batting practice, Lowery clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a tight load, then used a controlled stride. Has an upward simple swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 75 mph; shows consistent feet, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.62. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose consistent arm action while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1773; Avg 1707). Shows sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (62-64). (Max spin 1827; Avg 1775). His changeup (68-69) had some action. His 10/4 slider (62-64) has slight late action. (Max spin 1820; Avg 1752).
