Body: 6’1’’, 200 pounds. Strong, physical frame.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, even setup with the hands showing minimal rhythm by the shoulder. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone. Recorded a 33% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball leading to a mostly pull side approach on the ground. Generated a solid 67% on plane efficiency per Blast Motion while showing occasional feel for the top hand at the plate. Hit into a stiff front side transferring the power to the baseball in sequence.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Singles power at the moment.
Arm: LH. INF - 63 mph. Short, high ¾ slot with room to add to the takeaway.
Defense: Approached on time with a moderate posture, soft glove hand working off the middle of his body and funneled inward; got the hips and shoulders in line towards the target before releasing; average feel around the bag.
Run: 8.44 60-yard time.
Delivery: Works from the stretch-only primarily with the hands coming set evenly at the chest; short and quick leg lift with mostly upright posture on the way through; adequate pace to the delivery with early hand-break present at times. Worked into a straight up and down position on the land into a stiff front side.
Arm Action: LH. High ¾ slot from a traditional look.
FB: T68 mph, 67-68 mph. Average spin rate of 1654 rpm. Played better down in the zone with some ASR.
CB: 56-58 mph. Average spin rate of 1648 rpm. Developing offering at the moment with small horizontal movement.
