6-foot-6, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Big and long right-hander who we have had a chance to see pitch twice now this summer. The fastball sat 79-80 mph, downhill plane to the pitch at times. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 58-59 mph. Additional fastball hand speed needs to be added to the pitch. The changeup sat 64-65 mph, no action to the pitch. The delivery is online with the feet, above ¾ in slot. The direction of the front shoulder comes offline much too soon, causing him to lose direction to the plate. The lift of the leg is repeated. The front foot can stay closed longer as he opens it up on the way to foot strike. The arm is long and works, interesting follow.
6-foot-6, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 79 mph, downhill in plane at times. The fastball does have arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 58-59 mph, big in shape. He slows his hand down to throw the pitch, needs to keep the same hand speed on the spin pitch. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The feet are online and the slot is above ¾. The post foot stands on top of the rubber at the pivot. The lift is athletic and the glove comes across the hitters face as he makes his way into foot strike. The arm is clean and has quickness to it. Very interesting prospect to follow.
