6-foot-2, 215-pound, strong large athletic frame. Already filling out, well proportioned with strength throughout. A right-handed hitting first baseman, at the plate wider even feet. The hands are loaded up, bat having tilt to it, lower half under control gaining ground and transferring the weight from the back side to front. The swing is powerful, short to contact, level to up path, finishing with two hands. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph and ran a 4.78 from home to first, long strider, gains ground. Swung the bat well in game play, took a solid round of batting practice. Defensively, moves very well around the bag at first base, feet are quick and clean. The hands are soft on the catch, showed good rhythm and timing on picks from infielders. The arm was clocked at 77 mph, across the diamond working out of a 3/4 slot. The starts on the double plays were smooth gaining ground, arm action was short and quick on turns. Look for him to hit and hit with power at the next level.
