Notes

Comments

10/05/25
5-foot-11, 180-pound left-handed hitting catcher and corner infielder. The skill set behind the dish is developing, he threw 69 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.09. The feet and transfer work freely, the direction on the throwing needs to be cleaned up. He is athletic and moves well so the adjustments should come easily. The bat had an exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup at the plate was even in base and he uses a pick and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is flat and he shows plus hand speed. The front foot does dive into the plate. I like the skill set.
7/02/25

5-foot-11, 180-pound left-handed hitting catcher and corner infielder. He ran a 7.39 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is solid, throwing 71 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.04. The approach in the infield is solid, throwing 75 mph with soft hands. The bat had an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup at the plate was athletic in base and he used a high leg kick to intiate the swing. The approach was in the middle of the field and he has a good hand path.

2/18/25

5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed hitting catcher and corner infielder. He ran a 7.09 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is appropriate and he works through the baseball, throwing 73 mph across the diamond. The skill set behind the dish is developing, throwing 70 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.03. The transfer and feet can continue to improve as he matures in age. The bat has an exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup is wide in base and he uses as leg lift for timing of the beginning of the swing. The hands work freely. The front foot steps into the dish as the swing is launched which cuts him off at contact.
