Kenny Carlisle: RHP/3B, (2022) out of South Portland, ME. is a projectable 6-foot-2, 179-pound right handed pitching prospect. On the mound, the delivery is easy and simple. He gets balanced at the top, with the shoulders in line with home plate. As he heads down the mound, he’s created good direction and is able to land square, finishing over his front leg. The arm works out of a long, over-the-top arm slot, producing a fastball that sits 79-80 MPH (Max spin 2105; Avg 1952) with some late arm side tilt. Carlisle also mixed in a 12/6 curveball (63-65 MPH)(Max spin 1999; Avg 1909) and showed the feel for a changeup (69-70 MPH) with some late fading action.
8/18/20
6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 77-79 mph with arm side action to it. The breaking ball was 66-69 mph and big in shape as more fastball hand speed is needed. The changeup was 70-72 mph with fade at times. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated and the direction to the plate is excellent as he stays behind the baseball. The arm works clean and free as he gets the ball out front. The frame is lanky as he can add weight and strength to it. He is a good follow on the mound for colleges.
