Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 71 mph during throw downs. Behind the plate, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 71 mph; had a pop time of 2.10-2.15. Capable on the mound, used a short arm action and an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with upright finish. (Max spin 2036; Avg 1931).

Started in a wide balanced stance with a slow load, then used a long leg kick. Had a simple level swing plane and a level finish. Up the middle approach.
