Joe Najduk: OF/RHP, (2023) Canton, MI. 5-foot-10, 172-pound. Confident during batting practice, Najduk's best exit velocity was 90 mph. Begins in an open balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple swing plane and level finish. Through his round he found lots of barrels. Line drive approach. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 84 mph; had firm hands, a lengthy clean exchange, and aggressive choppy footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short stiff arm action. Capable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a moderate quick arm action while showing good quick arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses high effort. He has even shoulders and a tall balance point. Shows balanced upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 82-83 mph; has sinking action and control down in the zone with tight movement.
