Lucas Kuzner: 2B/SS, (2022) Grand Rapids Catholic Central, MI. 6-foot-1, 160-pound. Raw at the plate, Kuzner clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a quick low load, then uses a quick stride. Had a simple flat swing plane, some bat speed and level finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Capable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 73 mph; had a lengthy exchange, choppy footwork, and firm hands. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Raw on the mound, showed a side arm angle and a long arm action with some arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed tall balance point with even shoulders. Shows an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 70-72 mph and topped out at 74 mph; had consistent command and cutting action. His 10/4 curveball (62-63) has glove side control and sweeping action. He shows fading action and arm side control on his flat changeup .
