Rivard has a 5-foot-8, 150-pounds frame. He uses a big leg kick and gets to a wide base. His barrel sweeps through the hitting zone and he finishes with two hands from the right side. His exit velocity was 76 mph and he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.53. On the infield, he showed good fundamentals with his actions and soft hands. On the mound, he throws from an over-the-top arm slot. His fastball sat 71-73 mph and he consistently threw strikes with it. His changeup was thrown with good arm speed and played well off his fastball sitting at 64-65 mph. His curveball had big 12/6 break on it at 66 mph.
