Walter has a 6-foot-1, 155-pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action. He has a controlled motion and brings his hands high with his leg kick. He finishes upright after delivering each pitch. His fastball sat 70-73 mph with some arm side run. He showed the ability to locate his fastball to both side of the plate. His changeup had good fade and sat 64-65 mph while being thrown with fastball arm speed. He kept his changeup on the arm side of the plate. His curveball sat 61-62 mph with tight 11/5 break. He showed an effortless delivery with consistent mechanics.
