William Helka: C, (2024) walled lake northern, MI. 5-foot-8, 150-pound. (67.9 mph bat speed average). (20.2 mph hand speed average). Started in an open wide stance with a controlled compact load, then used a short controlled stride. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels. While catching, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 72 mph; has a fluid transfer, consistent feet, and sure hands. recorded a pop time of 2.25-2.27. Clean setup with some flexibility. Solid on the mound, showing some arm speed he used an over-the-top arm angle with a short loose arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. He has in line shoulders and a tall balance point. Lands square and closed with a falling off balanced finish. (Max spin 1825; Avg 1684).
