10/2/16 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound catcher, lean build. Right-handed hitter, open setup, short stride back to square, average balance. Loose hands, path worked on level plane, showed bat speed. Went 1-for-2 with a single in game play. 78 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively arm played over the top, late to release point, average arm strength throws carried high to target. Athletic to block, showed bounce out of the crouch, 2.11-2.25 pop times. 7.21 runner in the 60.
6/20/16- 5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.32 runner. Line drive swing plane, produced consistent solid contact, gap to gap approach, good extension through contact, 79 mph exit velocity. Quick feet, length to exchange, short release, throws short to bag. 2.02-2.2 pop times with 70 mph arm strength. Blocks baseballs well, active and athletic, average receiver.
3/20/16- 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Small frame with wiry strength. 7.53 runner. Solid set-up in box, square stance, short to contact, line-drive swing plane, gap to gap approach with consistent solid contact middle/away. 80 mph exit velocity. Good flexibility, low set-up, holds pitches in zone, fast feet, quick release with good accuracy to bag. 70 mph arm strength with 2.00 pop time.
10/25/15- 5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.22 runner. Athletic stance. Stays down and through contact well. Middle/away approach with line drive swing plane. Good barrel control with consistent solid contact. 76 mph exit velocity off tee. Shows ability to receive with good hands. Wide stance- low target- with good lateral movement. Clean exchange with quick feet. Short release with accurate throws to bag. 71 mph arm strength with pop times in 2.12-2.25 range.
5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Solid middle/pull contact producing line-drives. Some hand drift down; working uphill through ball at contact. 72 mph exit velocity off tee. Average pop in bat. Good lower half flexibility. Above average energy. Quick feet with average length to exchange. Solid accuracy to bag. 2.16 pop time with 66 mph arm strength.
