8/17/14 – Cooper is an athletic 5-foot-10, 175-pound right-hand hitting catcher. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.41. Josh throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. He had a POP range of 2.13 – 2.32. His position velo was 72 MPH. At the plate, Cooper has a balanced setup with a smooth load and long stride. He has good balance through his sing and maintains a level bat path. Josh uses the middle of the field. Cooper had an exit velo of 87 MPH.

2/17/14 – Cooper is a 5-foot-10 160-pound catcher and recorded pop-times between 2.15-2.35.  He has a clean exchange with quick release.  He showed soft hands and good footwork with a velo of 73 MPH from the crouch.  At the plate, Cooper has a gap-to-gap approach that produces consistent line drives.  He starts with a balanced stance and has a level swing path with good extension.  Cooper has good bat speed with an 88 MPH exit velo.  He runs a 4.38 home-to-first.
