6-foot-1, 225 pound two way player ran a 7.65 60 yard sprint. Topped out at 75 mph on the mound with a short ¾ arm action. Rocker step, short balance point, stiff frontside, falls off to glove side. Flat action on fastball. 10/6 shaped 62-65 mph breaking ball. At the plate, open stance, leg kick trigger, low hands, slightly uphill barrel path, ground ball contact during round of BP. Posted an 77 mph exit velocity off a tee.
2/19/18- 6-foot-1, 220 pound two-way player ran a 4.45 H-1B. Square stance, leg kick with slight hoover for timing. Middle approach. Line drive contact during round of BP. Posted an 77 mph exit velocity off a tee. On the mound, topped out at 72 mph with his fastball. High ¾ arm slot, front side stays close, some flattening out off of his backside. Avg. feel for 10/6 shaped breaking ball, loose spin, little action. Feel for the strike zone with firm change up, some downward action from turning it over.
