On the mound, the fastball is true and touched 79 mph. He did take a pitch off his arm earlier in the game, so factor that into the evaluation. The breaking pitch is big, and he slows his arm down, sat at 61 mph. The changeup is 70-71 mph and has the makings of being a good one. The delivery is on-line with his feet, the tracking of his shoulders could improve, helping extension. The arm works out of a slightly higher than ¾ slot and the fastball has a good downhill plane to it. 1.03 to the plate out of the stretch. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 88 mph. The bat has life to it, hits out of a wide base and low handed start. The bottom half of the swing is under control. The path is long to the ball and he cuts his swing off after contact. In the field, the glove at first and third base is solid. Threw 74 mph from third base with carry and 72 mph from first base with good footwork and accuracy.

Wide shouldered right-handed hitter who worked out at third base but is a primary pitcher. The glove and prep steps to the ball are done correctly. He threw 71 mph across the diamond from both third and first. He follows his throws and does a great job of being under control through the process. The frame is awesome, and as he fills out, he will be a physical specimen. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 81 mph as he shows strong hands. The setup is slightly spread out and has a good separation with his hands as the ball approaches. The bat could be flattened through the hitting zone, but that will come in time. Will be interested to see him on the mound as his arm works well.
