6-foot-2, 215-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting first baseman. He ran a 7.5 sixty at the event. The feet need to be smoothed out around the bag. The glove is reliable and he threw 82 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has good strength to it, exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is even in base and he showed a toe tap as the ball approached the hitting zone. The hands are clean and strong to contact, showing a long path. On the mound, the fastball sat 81-83 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch 76-78 mph and solid in shape. The changeup is 75-76 mph and showed fade at times. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The frame is thick and durable. The arm works freely and his direction on the top half is solid. Novak is a physical 6-foot-2, 215 pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect. At the plate, Novak hits out of an even, balanced set up. The hands are relaxed just off the back shoulder. As he loads, he’s able to stack the weight over the back leg and get the hands into a strong position to hit. The swing is flat through the hitting zone, producing a max exit velocity of 92.4 MPH during the batting practice. He also ran a 7.37 second sixty.

Defensively, Novak showed a quick, short arm yielding a velocity of 80 MPH across the diamond. The footwork over at first base is deliberate and gets him into a good fielding position. The hands are soft as he transitions through the ground ball. He creates a good line with the target and works through the play.

On the mound, Novak uses a simple, balanced delivery. He collects himself over the rubber allowing him to take consistent lines to home plate. The arm works out of a fluid ¾ slot and produces late action on a fastball that sat 81-84 MPH. The breaking ball is hard pitch with tight spin and depth at 72-74 MPH. He also showed a change-up at 75 MPH.

Exit Velocity- 92 mph
INF Velocity- 80 mph
