Low-¾ right-hander from New Hampshire that I like a bunch. I think he can pitch a number of places. The stuff is good and will only improve. The ball comes at the hitter out of a different look, a guy every staff needs. The delivery is under control, he makes a major attempt to control his direction and glove side. The lift is athletic and tempo is proper. Showed the ability to pitch out of the stretch and was quick to the plate. Fastball got to 84 mph out of the clean arm action, more in the tank for sure. The slider is an out pitch with minor tweaking, already touching 77 mph. The changeup is a tough pitch from that angle, he does a good job of keeping his middle fingers and ring finger behind the ball, sat 72-75 mph. Like a bunch on the bump.
3/12/2016 Ultra-quick armed right-hander who showed well for himself in Concord. The delivery is rotational and he needs to lengthen his stride a bit but the ball jumps out of his hand. The delivery is sound, and he holds direction with his front side. The fastball got to 81 and had late life to it. The changeup is sharp with the right shape, sitting at 71. Threw two spin pitches, the breaking ball was big and was at 68. The slider was a better spin pitch, sitting at 76-77. I like the frame, as its skinny and long. Keep an eye on this guy.
