6-foot-2, 205-pound, strong, physical athletic frame. Already filling out, shoulders and back are wide, strength throughout. A two way player, at the plate hits from the left-side, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are set lower, away from the frame. For timing uses a simple pick up and put down of stride foot. The swing is level to up, finishes high with one hand. The approach is more middle to opposite. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 79 mph and ran a 4.52 from home to first base. Defensively, threw 74 mph from the outfield, shorter arm path, works out of a ¾ slot. The approach is under control and uses a shuffle for the transfer. Off the mound, simple, controlled delivery, hands start and stay low, weight stays on the back side. The lower half is inline, lead arm could stay tracked longer to plate. The arm works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball was clocked at 72-73 mph with action to 2-seamer. The change up showed to have proper fade and shape, quality pitch against right-handed hitters, clocked at 66 mph. The breaking ball is thrown slower, clocked at 59 mph, needs to gain more fastball hand speed. Time will tell which way he goes.
