Ryan Gomez: LHP/RHP/1B, (2022) Salem, NH. 5-foot-10, 184-pound solid frame. Athletic in the box, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 88 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, used a flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Athletic in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a short arm action and a ¾ slot. Above average on the mound, used a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. As a left-handed pitcher he displayed a free and easy tempo with a quick arm. . Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph; showed sinking action and control in the zone. His slider (68-70) has control around the zone and tight action. Showed deceiving action and command around the zone on his splitter (70-71). As a right-handed pitcher he displayed more arm speed but showed less command. The lift is solid in aggression and the tracking of the front shoulder needs to stay online longer as he spins through the delivery. The fastball touched 85 mph. He showed a solid split finger as well during the outing.

Defense: (IF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Athletic. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally.
Arm: 74 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Pitching: Above average. Feel delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, short arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, an athletic finish.
FB: T81. 80-81 mph. In the zone accuracy, sinking action.
SL: 68-70 mph. Around the zone command, tight action.
SP: 70-71 mph. Around the zone control, deceiving action.
