Thomas Rioux: RHP/3B, (2022) Pinkerton Academy, NH. 6-foot-1, 230-pound sturdy frame. Above average on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. Displays in line shoulders with an athletic balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 85-86 mph; had control in the zone and running action with heavy movement. He showed swing and miss action and control around the zone on his 11/5 curveball (70-72). His changeup (77-78) had sinking action and around the zone control.

Body: 6-foot-1, 230-pound sturdy frame.

Pitching: Above average. Up-tempo delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, loose arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, a clean finish.

FB: T86. 85-86 mph. (Max spin 2303;  Avg 2232). In the zone accuracy, running action, heavy movement. 

CB: 70-72 mph. Around the zone control, swing and miss action, 11/5 shape. 

CH: 77-78 mph. Around the zone control, sinking action. 

6-foot-1, 230-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball bumped 82 mph and showed arm side action to it. The spin pitch was 72-76 mph and solid in shape, good tilt and depth to it. The changeup was 76-77 mph and showed minimal fade and action to it. The delivery is online and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The process is done entirely out of the stretch. The lift is solid in tempo, repeated and online. He peppered the strike zone with his stuff and shows the makings of a good breaking ball. He stays with his arm and gets in his skill set.  He showed well for me.
