The bat has an exit velocity of 97 mph, serious buggy whip in the barrel. The setup is even in base as the front foot is picked up and put down as the ball approaches. The path is flat to uphill as he manipulates the bat with ease. The hands produce plus bat speed with a high finish.
Tyler Marcoux: OF/C, (2025) Manchester West High School, NH. 6-foot, 175-pound lean athletic build. Projectable during batting practice, Marcoux clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. (66.2 mph bat speed average). (18.2 mph hand speed average). Began in an open wide stance with a wrapping load, then used a closed small leg kick. Bat speed was developing quick, used an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athletic and projectable his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 78 mph; shows a natural exchange, developing athletic feet, and developing hands. Laterally, movements were developing athletically and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.
