Brandon Metivier: 2B/RHP, (2022) Bishop Guertin, NH. Nichols College Commit, 5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic lean frame. Projectable and athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 93 mph. (71.5 mph bat speed average). (21.2 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick developing, showed a loose flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Projectable in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 86 mph; had athletic developing footwork, a clean natural exchange, and soft developing hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Above average and  projectable on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick above average arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Has a consistent balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 87-88 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2362; Avg 2183). Showed glove side around the zone control and slurvey action on his slider (72-73). (Max spin 2350; Avg 2221). His cutter (82-83) shows glove side around the zone control and tight action.

(69.84 mph bat speed average). (21.05 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was average, used an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. Created loud contact and found some barrels. Aggressive approach. Athletic while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph; shows soft developing hands, a clean exchange, and athletic consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.0. Above average on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a short quick arm action while showing quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands open with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 84-85 mph; showed slight running action and arm side control with heavy movement. (Max spin 2290; Avg 2149). Shows sweeping action and glove side control on his curveball (68-70). (Max spin 2317; Avg 2269). Throws a 10/4 slider (70-71) that has sweeping action and around the zone glove side command. (Max spin 2177; Avg 1768).

Body: 5-foot-9, 150-pound lean athletic frame.

Hit: (RHH) Projectable. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a leg kick. Average bat speed. High finish, uphill loose swing. Aggressive approach. 

Power: 88 mph exit velocity, average 77.52 mph. 69.84 mph bat speed average. 21.05 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft developing hands, athletic consistent footwork, clean exchange. Athletic.  Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. 

Arm: 79 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.00 (60-yard).

Pitching: Above average. Up-tempo delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, short quick arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

FB: T85. 84-85 mph. (Max spin 2290;  Avg 2149). Arm side accuracy, slight running action, heavy movement. 

CB: 68-70 mph. Glove side control, sweeping action. (Max spin 2317; Avg 2269). 

SL: 70-71 mph. Around the zone glove side command, sweeping action, 10/4 movement. (Max spin 2177; Avg 1768). 

Brandon Metivier: 2B/RHP, (2022) Bishop Guertin, NH. 5-foot-9, 145-pound slim frame. Athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Began in an open stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Aggressive approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 79 mph.  Laterally, his movements were athletic. While catching, showed a natural exchange, soft hands, and athletic feet. Used a quick arm action with a ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag.

Position: 2B/RHP

Body: 5-foot-9, 145-pound slim frame.

Hit: (RHH) Starts in an open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Quick bat speed. Level finish, simple swing. Aggressive approach. 

Power: 86 mph exit velocity, average 79.92 mph. 69.35 mph bat speed average. 20.90 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) Soft hands, athletic footwork, natural exchange. Athletic.  Laterally, his movements were athletic. 

Arm: 79 mph infield velocity. Quick arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

5-foot-9, 145-pound second baseman and right-handed pitcher. He ran a 7.59 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and he showed active feet throughout the fielding of the baseball. He threw 77 mph across the diamond during the defensive portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is close with the feet, front foot slightly open. He uses a toe tap as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The swing is long, hands work freely through contact with the baseball. On the mound, the fastball sat 80-82 mph with minimal arm side action. The slider was 68-69 mph and wide in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online with the feet and slot is loose, slightly above 3/4. The tempo is solid, needs to stay online longer with the front shoulder but the arm is very fast. He is a good follow on the mound.
