Santos is 6-foot-3, 166 pounds and is wiry strong and has a very projectable frame. Santos hits from a square stance and takes a balanced approach and a smooth swing plane. He has a feel for making contact to all fields. He doesn’t hit with much pop but plays the game with a ton of energy and has the ‘sparkplug’ gene. He has range defensively and picks it with soft hands. He throw tool is just okay; he makes up for a short arm and lack of arm strength with a smooth, quick transfer and release. He is a high level, “gamer” type of player who is a definite division-one talent.
