Preseason All-State Showcase (February 10th, 2018)
Lerario has an athletic build at 6-foot-1 200-pounds. Fastball topped at 85 MPH and sat mostly 83-84 during his sequence at the event. Flashed a curveball with two-plane depth at 72-75 and a changeup at 75-77 with late fade. Drop and drive type pitcher in his balance point – able to get into his legs and stay over the rubber long enough for "whip" action in arm to take place in finish. Another pitcher who has made strides since we last saw him in June of '17. Lerario's finishes over a stiff, strong front leg with extension. Lands square with a straight front foot. Hitting – Lerario starts in a wide stance and slight crouch with hands above backs shoulder. Uses a leg kick and stride to start swing. Hands load down and back.  Quick level bat path through the zone with a slight uphill motion in finish. Powerful swing projects as a gap to gap hitter. Exit velocity topped at 96 MPH, which was the top recorded exit velo from the event. Defensively – Lerario took reps at 1B. Throws topped at 81 MPH. Footwork is sound on double play feeds to 2B; replaces feet effectively on turns. Throws were on the bag and accurate.

2017 New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Lerario has an athletic build at 6-foot-1 200-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.04-seconds, and recorded an exit velocity of 86 MPH. Offensively – starts in a tall, opened stance with hands high above back shoulder. Uses a leg kick to start swing, hands load down and back. Short and quick swing through the zone helps create some line drive pop. Finishes with some lift to swing. Defensively – took reps at 1B. Throws across the infield topped at 78 MPH. Long arm action, ball had some armside run on the bag. Able to maneuver around the bag with some athleticism, double play feeds had some rhythm to footwork.

Futures Preview South (June 4th, 2017)

Lerario has a big, athletic build at 6-foot-1 200-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.04 seconds and recorded a 92 MPH exit velocity, one of the best of the event. At the plate, starts with an opened stance and in a crouch with hands above back shoulder. Uses a foot stride to recenter body to homeplate. Hands load down and then back as front foot first touches down. Short, quick swing with partial hip clearance through the zone. Line drive hitter with feel for the barrel. Defensively, Took reps at third base. Showed some athleticism moving side to side. Throws topped at 75 MPH across the diamond with some carry. Hand exchange was clean and easy.
