Lanky and athletic at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Pitched exclusively from the stretch on this day. Sets up on the third base side of the rubber with his feet closed off and back leg preset. Hands start by his midsection and stay there until he works down the slope. Syncs up his upper and lower half after his hand break. Efficient lower half. Strong brace leg. Long, loose arm. Consistent strikethrower with his FB which sat 74-75 MPH, touching 78 MPH. Mixed in a big breaker with depth at 62-64 MPH.
Long, wiry frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. The lefty’s windup starts on the third base side of the rubber. Consistent rhythm and tempo throughout. Quick second half of his delivery. Sits into his backside and lets his hips do the work. Stride direction stays in line with slight uphill shoulder tilt. Starts even and tall in the stretch. Long, loose arm action. High 3/4 arm slot. FB was in the zone at 80-81 MPH. A CB at 66-68 MPH had 1/7 shape. Power CH at 74-76 showed some fade at times.
