Sheehy has a big frame for his age at 6-foot-5 215-pounds. One of the top 2017s at the event, one of the top uncommitteds. Offensively, starts with bat just above shoulder, gets swing started with a small foot stride. Very smooth swing with minimal effort, ball jumps off bat when he makes good contact. Gap to gap potential. Bat occasionally wraps around head causing his timing to be slightly off. If he can get bat to be more square, he will start to barrel up more consistently. 
Defensively - advanced receiver and blocker. Big frame to throw to, gets pitchers strikes with the way he catches the ball. Throws to second were on line with very good back spin, topped at 74 mph, had pop times between 2.12 and 2.28 in the skills event. Can bring those times down with improvement in footwork.
