Quiet set up with wide, neutral stance with hands just above back shoulder. Small leg lift and stride, hands load up and back with fluidity. Short, fluid LH swing with slight uptick on finish. 0-2 with two groundouts.

Vanderbilt recruit, 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame has continued to get more physical, Pittaro’s barrel control is advanced as it remains in the zone for an extended period of time, and he took one of the more mature rounds of any player on the day, working the ball from gap to gap with minimal effort.  Has the potential to end up with a high hit tool as well as some power as he fills out.

A left handed hitting middle infielder with some bounce to his step, Pittaro stood out with a strong, athletic frame. With broad shoulders and a short fluid swing, Pittaro is the cleanup hitter for the 11-1 Spartans as just a freshman.
