Strong, physical build at 6-foot, 190-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds, recorded a top exit velo of 89 MPH. Tall, open stance with some bend in his knees. Hands are free and easy, move slightly backwards during his load. Extension through the zone. Small, hanging stride. Balanced approach, line drives to all fields. Positional velo of 80 MPH in the infield. Smooth actions around the baseball. Gathers in his midsection, quick release. On the mound, Park starts straight up on the first base side. Gradual start to his delivery, faster going down the slope. High leg lift, works in sync with his upper half. Slight uphill shoulder tilt, closed at foot strike. Gets over his frontside. Shorter arm action. FB had some downhill angle on it at 80-81 MPH touching 83 MPH. CB at 70-71 MPH had more horizontal action to it. CH with fade at 74-75 MPH.
Maryland Western Trials
Body: 6’0’’, 185 pounds. Athletic, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate with a small leg kick load. Creates good hand separation and works short to the ball with quick hands and bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball with some lower half involvement and finishes long with one hand. Gap-to-gap line drive approach and nice feel for the barrel.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Strength present in the hands with power to the alleys.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Throws with shorter, whippy arm action from a low three-quarter slot with ease.
Defense: Moves light in the infield and really works through the ball well with smooth, clean actions. Fields the ball out in front and funnels quickly to chest for transfer and exchange. Feet are always moving towards the target. High level defender.
Run: 7.72 60-yard time.
