Furey has a lean, athletic build at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds. 60 yard dash time was recorded at 7.46 seconds with an exit velocity of 87 MPH. Has an open stance with a big leg kick. Hands start high and stay locked in position with a slight bat wrap. Drops his back shoulder and barrel head. Easy stroke, stayed through the middle of the field. In the outfield recorded a top throwing velo of 82 MPH. Under control approach to the ball with aggressive throwing actions. On target throws. On the mound, Furey comes at you from a modified stretch. Starts with his hands low and keeps them there until his balance point. Up tempo delivery, maintains rhythm. Long, loose, clean arm action. Stride direction in line. FB sneaks up on you at 84-86 MPH and some late ride. CB had big 1/7 shape at 70-72 MPH. CH showed significant run at times at 72-73 MPH. 


5-foot-11, 160lb athletic frame; 7.16 runner in the 60 yard dash. Open stance with the hands set high by the shoulder with a relaxed bat. Moderate leg kick on the load with some wiggle in the barrel to maintain fluidity in the hands. Works a linear swing through the zone that covers a large portion of the plate. Struck the ball well to the pull side with multiple line drives and hard hit fly balls, registered an 87 MPH max exit velo. In the outfield, Furey moves easily with athletic feet and good reads on the ball. Gains momentum into the throw to the target and throws from a long, loose 3/4 slot. Posted an 80 MPH outfield velo in his session. 

On the mound, Furey works with good tempo down the slope. Strides out and plants the front foot, throwing off a very firm front side. The upper half stays closed until footstrike, creating quality hip-shoulder separation. Worked the FB 83-85 MPH with good arm speed upon release from a 3/4 slot. Mixed in a curveball with quality depth down and to the glove side at 70-72 MPH and flashed a quality changeup with good two plane action at 72-72 MPH. 


5-foot-10, 160-pound lanky frame. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.26. Begins in a tall open stance with a smooth small load, then uses a small leg kick to initiate his swing. Had flat swing plane and had level finish. Base hit approach. The left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 79 mph. In the outfield, showed developing feet, sure hands and a clean exchange. Throws registered in at 79 mph. Had an-over-the-top slot with a long arm action. Projectable on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action with quick arm speed. Shows some effort in his delivery. Displays even shoulders and athletic balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-81 mph and topped out at 83 mph. Curveball (69-71 mph). Look for Furey to continue to improve as he adds strength.


5-foot-10, 150-pound lean frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 73 mph. Began in an open stance with a small load, then used a small leg kick right before his swing. Shows a flat swing plane. Pull side approach. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 75 mph; had consistent hands and a easy exchange. Showed a ¾ slot. He recorded a 60 time of 7.35 at the event. On the mound, he has a ¾ angle with quick arm speed. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. Firm, athletic balance point. His fastball was clocked at 74-77 mph. Throws a 1/7 curveball (61-65) that he commanded for strikes. His changeup (61-64) shows some sinking action.
