Hunter stands at 5-foot-8, 175-pounds. Has a strong and physical frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 86 MPH. Starts tall at the plate in an open stance. Big, outward stride. Hands start above shoulder height and creates pre-pitch rhythm. Hands stay locked in position. Keeps his hands inside the ball, shows gap-to-gap power potential. Is able to completely clear his hips. Defensively, took reps behind the plate. Recorded a top velo of 72 MPH on his throws to bases. Stays low and athletic throughout his throws. Feet stay in line with his target. Makes his transfer at chest height, near his body. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.16-2.22 seconds. 
2017 New Jersey State Games (July 26-27, 2017)
Hunter has a sturdy, broad shouldered build at 5-foot-8 175-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.45-seconds, recorded an exit velocity of 88 MPH. At the plate, Hunter starts in a slightly opened stance and in a crouch with weight on back side. Hands just above back shoulder to start off. Uses a foot stride and slight toe tap to start swing, hands load up and back. Compact stroke through the zone with a balanced finish on follow through. Defensively – throws down to 2B topped at 71 MPH. Pop times were clocked between 2.38-2.51 both in game and during the workout. Short quick arm action with some armside fade on the bag.

Futures Preview North ( June 3, 2017)
Sturdy build at 5-foot-8, 175-pounds. Hunter ran a 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. His pop time behind the plate was 2.15- 2.18 seconds with a velocity of 71 MPH.  Batting from the right side Hunter has a balanced stance that leads to a big leg kick that produces a 86 MPH exit velocity. Uphill swing produced fly balls and line drives. Showed pull side line drives. Off the mound he pitches from a low ¾ delivery almost side arm. His fastball is straight consistently 71-72 MPH, topping at 72 MPH. His slider velocity is 60-62 with right to left break across the plate.
