Villanova recruit. Lanky 6-foot-1 175-pound build with room to fill out. Fastball sat 89-91 for most of the game against Gloucester Catholic. Flashed a sharp, hard slider with late 11/5 break at 76-79. Fastball velocity held through the 6th inning. Long, loose arm action. Strikeout type stuff w/ slider.
PBR Mid-Atantic ProCase (10.28.18)
10.28.18 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound Villanova commit. Righty sat 86-88 out of a 3/4 arm slot with deliberate side rocker step and a quick arm stroke. His changeup is thrown with good sell at 76-78 and showed solid sink and some arm-side run. The slider is a quality third pitch at 75-78. Vanderslice is athletic with room to add to his frame. He has an above average feel for three pitches and showed an ability to command all three for strikes.
