6-foot-3, 175lb athletic frame, wide shouldered; 7.4 runner in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, Roche starts with wide feet and some bend in the knees. Keeps the hands torqued high behind the ear with a big scap load. Loads with a small lift and replace front foot, keeps the hands up high and holds the scap load throughout. Works an uphill swing powered by a dominant bottom hand and mashes line drives and hard hit fly balls to the pull side, but displayed oppo juice just as easily. Registered an 89 MPH max exit velo. In the infield, Roche moves well laterally with an athletic lower half. Fields out in front and makes an emphasis on keeping his throwing hand on the glove to work a quick funnel and exchange process. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with looseness present in the actions, posted an 81 MPH infield arm strength.
